  • A. Personal Identification Data: Name, Username, Profile Picture, Email address, Home Club, Country, and Handicap.
  • B. Golf & Performance Data: Scorecards (scores, putts, FIR, GIR), Shot Data (distances, lie types, clubs used), and manually imported historical data or CSV uploads (e.g., Rapsodo data).
  • C. Location Data (GPS): Precise GPS coordinates collected only while you are playing a round with the GPS feature enabled.
  • D. Technical Data: Device ID, IP address, operating system, and app crash reports (via Google Firebase).

3. How We Use Your Data and Legal Basis

We process your data based on the following legal grounds under Article 6 of the GDPR:

  • Payment Providers (e.g., Stripe/Apple/Google): To process subscription payments.
  • Public/League Visibility: If you join a League, your Name, Profile Picture, and Scores will be visible to other participants in that specific league.

5. International Data Transfers

Our primary servers are hosted by Google Firebase. While we aim to keep data within the European Economic Area (EEA), some technical infrastructure may process data in the United States. We ensure protection through:

  • The EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (for certified recipients).
  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.

6. Data Retention

  • Active Accounts: We retain your data as long as your account is active.
  • Account Deletion: If you delete your account, identifiable data is removed from live databases within 30 days.
  • Anonymized Data: We may retain aggregated, fully anonymized golf data for statistical analysis (e.g., “Average drive distance per handicap”) which cannot be linked to you.
